Warboss Clomp February 2009 |

WARBOSS CLOMP
When:
Saturday, 2/28/09 at 8:00 PM EST (5:00 PM PST)
Where:
The Bluud Chambur in the clearing.
Rules:
The six fighters will begin by each one standing in front of one of the six teleporters in the front of the chamber. The referee (Sek) will choose at random which orcs go where and when to actually step onto the teleporters. Once the fighters step on the teleporters and get transported into their cells they will remain there without opening the cage door until the ref says it's alright to begin. Once the fight begins, foot stools will go over the outside teleporters, preventing fighters from leaving and returning and preventing outside interference. If a fighter uses a trapped teleporter and ends up outside the chamber, he is disqualified. If a fighter uses the leave house option, he is disqualified. Alliances are not forbidden amongst fighters but remember that this chamber is multi-storied which means your friends might not be on the same floor as you. When you die you are not to go into war mode so that way your name doesn't show up and that is the only time you will use the leave house option to get ressed. The winner of the clomp is the last orc left standing in the chamber and he will become the new Bloodclan Warboss.
Armor/Weapons/Etc. Rules:
1) Any armor (within normal orcish rules) is allowed, magic, colored, whatever. Grunts are allowed to wear plate arms. Orc helms are allowed.
2) Any weapon (within normal orcish rules) is allowed.
3) Only 35 Bandages total are allowed.
4) Only 2 Heal, 5 Cure, and 10 Refresh Pots total allowed.
5) Shields are not allowed.
6) 3 weapons total are allowed for the clomp.
Fighters:

Gnoth the Warboss

Snog the Tribeless

Tak'Wug the Grinning Grunt

Or'Gug the Sludge Toothed Ward'r (Substituting for Lug'Dug)

Burz'Ro the Surjin

Grugh the Blackrock Brute
Any questions or comments pm me, AIM me, or talk to me in IRC. Good luck everyone. Make this Warboss Clomp count!

Surjinz Prezent: Tri-Urkathon! |
|
Jan 27, 2009 - 5:02 PM - by Burz'Ro
|

This event has prizes! It involves three skill-based games.
THIS WILL START AT 3 PM EST ON SATURDAY. MEET AT THE FORT!
Teams will be 3 orcs each. Please announce your intended teams here in advance so we can organize this. All ranks from Pug on up are welcome, except no mojoz will be allowed to compete.
1) Tactical Obstacle Course:
Each team will enter the course one at a time. The team starts in a line, with nothing but 60 bandages and 6 red potions to share among themselves. They must first run to the first ground marker, where they must stack. Once all 3 orcs are stacked, they must hide.
Then they move on to the maze entrance which will be pre-made. There will be 3 entrances, one for each orc. In the maze, each orc will find his personal weapon (and ammo if applicable) hidden somewhere in the maze. After exiting the maze, the team must again stack and then hide on another ground marker.
Then they move on to the monster challenge where they must krimp and defeat the monster. Once it has died, the team will move to the third and final ground marker to stack and hide. This final hiding marks the finish, and the team's time is recorded.
Points will be awarded for the following:
Time:
1st: 4
2nd: 3
3rd+: 2
1 bonus point per red potion not used, but only 2 of such bonus points can be earned per team.
2) Fort Construction and Target Practice:
Each team will have their own area to build a fort with provided materials: 8 stools, 2 crates, and 20 hides. When a team finishes, they need to announce it in guild chat, and a referee will judge the small fort for defensibility.
Points will be awarded for the following:
Time:
1st: 1
2nd+: 0
Defensibility:
1st: 2
2nd: 1
3rd+: 0
Once all teams are ready near their fort, a mounted mak'r will speed through each fort a couple times. The three orcs will shoot or swing at the unarmored mak'r as he rides through. You can use archery or melee for this, but you can't move out of the fort.
Points will be awarded for the following:
Killing the Mak'r on first pass: 2
Killing the Mak'r on second pass: 1
Not killing the Mak'r in either pass: 0
Only 2 points may be earned from this part.
3) Capture the Flag:
Each team will get a table placed in their fort and 3 colored orc helms, based on their teams color. A referee will be at each team's table. A typical capture the flag game starts when the referee signals in guild chat. An orc must enter an enemy fort and take 1 orc helm from their table, equipping it. He then runs back to his own fort and gives the helm to the referee there. Capturing a helm means taking it and giving it to your team's referee at your table. Once a helm is captured, the referee holds it and it cannot be retaken. Any helm carrier that dies may have their helm only looted, and if you loot your own team's helm, you must IMMEDIATELY run back to your table and place it there. Resurrection is allowed, but if an entire team is killed, they are out for the rest of the CTF. When only one team is left with uncaptured helms, the game ends.
Points will be awarded for the following (even for teams that end up all dead):
Capture a helm: 1
PRIZES!:
1st Place Team: Each orc can choose either a set of golden ringmail, or 3 golden runic weapons, or some lines of epic poetry to be remembered by countless generations.
2nd Place Team: Each orc can choose either a set of shadow ringmail, or 3 shadow runic weapons, or a full potion keg of choice, or 3 bolas
3rd Place Team: Each orc can choose either a set of iron or leather armor, or a bola.

Warboss Clomp: Survival |
|
Jan 16, 2009 - 6:48 PM - by Sek'Morag
|
Results:
First to fall: Nok'Tor of Surjins
Second to fall: Burz'Ro of Surjins
Third to fall: Rugorim of Bluudskuhlz
Fourth to fall: Tak'Wug of Blak Tuuf Grin
Fifth to fall: Vlek of Bluudskuhlz
Sixth to fall: Mur'gugl of Blackrock (Defender of the Warboss Title)
Seventh to fall: Sek'Morag of Blak Tuuf Grin
Winners: Gnoth of Blackrock with Snog the Tribeless as his Warboss Guard
Description for History:
This is a special clomp. As it is known, Mur'gugl has won the last 3 Warboss Clomps, the last one of being special significance since he took on five orcs by himself and still won. Because of this, this fourth one will be a challenge for Mur as well as the teams participating. In this clomp, Mur will start out in the center of the ring and a team will be called in at random by a referee. That team will try to clomp Mur. Every 15 seconds the referee will call in a new team to come in. All teams can fight each other but Mur should be the main target (Good luck Mur haha). The last team standing at the end wins and the canidate will become the new Warboss and his teammate will be a Warboss Guard. If Mur wins he will be Warboss for his fourth term and be declared one tough son of a bitch.
