NugNug! Best of luck to you! The decision to join up during a time of war is no light decision at all. You don't have to worry about dieing. Just listen to what your drill sargeants and instructors have to say, trust your buddies to your left and right and use your head for more than just a hat rack and you'll do just fine!
My only thought for surviving the training ahead of you is to remember what I kept in mind: Sweat now so you don't bleed later. My drill sargeant gave me that one to hang onto.
