Well, I am getting a little tired of explaining to every new member how to get trained up on Angel Island, so I decided to write a quick start guide.
This guide will tell you how to train up to GM Weapon Skill, Tactics, and Anatomy, along with about 80 healing. This training will take about 4-6 hours, but can be done AFK. This training method requires knowledge of how to create and use Razor macros; if you do not know how, I'm afraid you must go elsewhere to find out.
When you start your orc, it is
very important that you start with 50 Healing and 50 resist, and start in Skara Brae. After character creation, immediately run east to the ferry and go to the mainland. When there, gather cotton from the fields.
To gather it, stand next to it and double click the cotton plant. A bale of cotton will appear where the plant was.
The plants respawn very fast, but if you are impatient, there are more fields to to the south where cotton also grows. When you have around 30 bales of cotton, head back into Skara Brae and turn it into cloth then bandages. After that is done, head to the north end of the island and take the moongate to Jhelom.
This is a classic UO server, so it will probably take you many tries before the moongate takes you to Jhelom. It's destinations reset every 20 seconds, so just be patient.
When you get to Jhelom, buy three daggers/knives/smith hammers, depending on what weapon skill you wish to train.
Once you have your weapons and your bandages you are set to train. Head to the Arena and hire youself a hireling. Don't hand him more than 30 gold. It is a good idea to pick a hireling who has either heavy armor or a shield- it will help keep them alive when your healing is low.
Once you have your hireling, head upstairs. Say "all guard me" and he will be attackable to you without you going grey. Say "all guard me" again after you have attacked him, and he will stop attacking you. Now you only have to worry about healing
him, and not yourself. Set up a Razor macro to heal him every 15 seconds.
It's a good idea to check your character every once in a while; your weapons will break every couple of hours, and you may get unlucky and accidently kill your hireling. Also, you occasionally get a jerk with peacemaking who comes and stops your sparring just to be an ass.
Once you are done training, head to the Bloodclan Outpost, located at the Yew Celtic Farms.
And thats it!
