Hiding, Krimping, and Traps in general
One thing I've noticed about the clan here is that we seem to mess traps up more than we succeed in them. I've compiled past experiences in traps and made them into a few simple rules that can be followed to ensure the success of your next trap. Here's Luk's 5 easy steps to a successful trap.
1. STAY HIDDEN - Don't come out of hiding just because the humie ran by the trap. Stay hidden until it's time to spring the trap!
2. Cross heal Cross heal Cross heal. - Almost all trap deaths can be prevented by cross healing the orc closest to you.
3. Listen to the trap/trip leader. - If someone is yelling for eveyone to get in a line for a line trap or yelling for the front door trap, drop what you are doing and get in the trap! Trust me, your not going to catch and kill that fully healed humie.
4. Don't move out of a krimp - If you step into position and somewhere else is not blocked. DON"T MOVE! Other orcs should see this and move there. If you leave your spot, it creates another hole to fill.
5. The final step to a succesful trap. The key in any trap, is timing. If someone is luring, they should lead the humie to the right spot and avoid being krimped them self. The trap should be sprung by the orc/orcs that are blocking escape routes. Don't step out early or the trap will fail!
Tactics:
1. After leaving a clomping area i.e. The Brit Graveyard, krimp the gate after getting back to the fort. Mojokas should dispel the gate as well. More than likely, humies will follow through the gate for an easy krimp kill.
2. On Crypt defence stay in daggum crypt! Your not a super ubber l337 tank mage so stay in the crypt and cross heal your fellow orcs!
3. When things get hairy.. Don't Panic! If your hurt throw up a *bleedz* and you should be fine. Under not circumstance should you run away if you are being healed. If you bleed in place like a crypt, someone is most likely in reach so don't move!
4. With para being used, be sure not to break the para by attackin before they are krimped. If a mojoka para's a humie, don't run up and whack him; get orcs in krimp position then attack.
5. As stated above, LISTEN TO THE TRIP LEADER. Most of the time this is Glub. So listen to what Glub says!
If anyone feels this is imcomplete, please feel free to add to this.
