Orcish Vocabulary--Not Just More Idle Chatter
I've seen A LOT of OOC speech over the last few days and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. Orcs don't go 'Chomp oomies at brit gy' or say things like 'lat uh f**king idiot', both of which I've seen. Be creative and make up new words. 'Brit gy' can become 'Bridum Buneyard'. Orcs don't have sins, so DO NOT say 'I must consider my sins.' Here's a few ideas:
Poison- Tokshun
Recall- Mojo uhwey
Gate travel- Mojo huul
Resurection- Gib/Meyk Fleshii
Bandaids- Heelie rags
Potions- Mojo waddurs
Idiot- Fathed, Glob
Stinky, idiot- Pushdug
Spear- Kigg
Sword- Zult
Axe- Lusk
Mace- Womp
Kryss- Kult
Dagger/Knife- Igg
Bow- Olig
Arrows- Ligz
*Use these words and another word to describe other items. For example, a Double Axe can be a Dub Lusk, or Dubuhl Lusk.
Blood- Bluud or Blog
Fire- Ghaash
Darkness- Buurz
Ground, Land- Uzg
Water- Brugh, waddur
-Reminder-
Do not say 'I must consider my sins', as orcs do what they do for their Bloodgod and, therefore, are sin-free. Rolling in flowers, now there's a sin.
These are a few ideas (yes, many are taken from Shadowclanisms, but since many of us here are/have played SC, it simplifies things). Please feel free to take liberties with the language in some reguard (e.g., me/mine can be mi, me, meeb(z)), but DO NOT stray and start using human language. Orcs speak orcish and under NO circumstances should they speak english. If a human needs to ask a question, utilize the party chat function. Be creative, make your own Orcisms and have fun!

Cool man thanx for the input...i try to check my kills either in private or i hide right afterwords to get rid of the text (speaking of course about 'i must consider my sins') i do realize that the number of people that have given me murder counts doesnt really matter, but just the same i like to know

Nice work Izze. As part of QC, I've begun to make a list of gruntees (and grunts) that are going OOC more and there will be some retribution. Thurg will be punishing those who disregard any warnings. As a gruntee, if you see a fellow gruntee go OOC like this, please try to correct them. And if they do not listen, then direct a grunt in their direction. And if you see a grunt go OOC, DO NOT TRY TO CORRECT THEM! But direct another grunt in their direction. Remember, gruntees should never try to criticize a grunt if you know what's good for ya.
And also, Thurg calls anything that is 2-handed (war hammer for example) as dub-paw (2-handed).... So a war hammer is a dub-paw womp!

If anyone needs any help or has a question on Orcish Vocab, please feel free to either ICQ me or, if In-Game, party me. I know the language fowards and backwards and even know some of the imfamous 'Blak Speej'.
As far as Thurg's post, thanks. From what I've seen, and this is just me, it's really not gruntees that are going OOC. Perhaps their too afraid to test the waters or speak their mind, but, be that as it may, I haven't seen them do it too much. My problem is with Grunts and Mojokas going OOC.
Ay) Like you said, I can't do anything about it. I'm a gruntee, what do I know? And noone dares repremand a mojoka...skaree mushii braynez!
Bee) I don't wanna be a smart-ass, even though I'm in the right and they're in the wrong.
A "Problem Orc" thread in leadership is probably the best way to combat chronic breach of character. This way the problem can be isolated and combated.

Hehe I fully agree and well said. I'm laughing because I remember the f - ing idiot occurence. It happened right after we were attacked by oomie mojos. My thief had succeeded in swiping one of their mojo rocks to prevent him from recalling.( A recall rune to B - whatever that means) After the fight I handed it off to a nearby mojokii, figuring he could use it to remark.
Instead he promptly cast a gate on it (!) and all the nearby orcs rushed in. Turned out to be to town and several burnt orcs were guardwhacked. I had lots of fun ressing them afterward and telling them not to go in strange mojo holes. But the mojokii blew a gasket, threw the rune back at me, and called me an f ing idiot for handing it to him. I had lots of fun the rest of the night offering it to him again every time I saw him hehe.
But your right, he messed up big time saying that. Don't worry QC knows of it and he will be watched for further slipups.
*you see Lugrat polishing a rock with a big B on it*

Another idea is to "whisper" the humie phrases you have to say then shout another text over them. Only people within 1 tile will hear the humie phrase. Like if you are a tamer, and you have some bears, make a macro for (whisper) all stay and right below it (emote) growls at bears.
just an idea
CLOMP DE HUMIEZ CLOMP DE ELBZ KEEP DE SHINIEZ FUR OURSELBZ

I dunno which grunts your talking about as most are pretty solid but your right about the mojokii. In an effort to help the clan out several mojokii were recruited straight into the guild isntead of going through the normal prosess of making a melee orc up to grunt then making a new char.
This has resulted in several of them not being prime examples of what we look for in mojokii and are very ruff around the edges. I have had issues myself and everyones help in correcting any OOC through parti messages and also through pointing it out to grunts/mojoka will help alot.
Bear with alot of these new recruits as thats exactly what they are. new.
not everyone has been in shadowclan or any other orc funtion outside this exp. I myself and my brother are some of those and look at us and have worked hard to be good orcs and look at us now!
Head mojoka and Gruntee Boss (bro)
Lets make sure that we are using any info we get from QC quickly and nipping any serious issues in the butt.
Understand that OOC behavior is not only not encouraged but not acceptable in any way. There can and will be repricutions for anyone who feels the rules dont apply to them and dont want to be a 'good little orc'
Just look at Gideon, a prime example of a moron who was a nubosh orc and also deddie
Good job on the list we should make sure we add that if any of those are mising to our language link!
ShadowClan.com under the cats link has an extensive language section i use alot for all u new gruntees/mojokii
