RED = Major and annoying.
ORANGE = Important.

I. CRASHES

-when you are on windows and the server changes the map. It makes you randomly crash.


II. BUGS

-Body shield If you shoot at a playermodel, only the part of the model that is hit first takes damage. If you shoot an ennemy straight into his head - but the hand blocks the sight to it, he only takes low damage - he should be dead with one headshot from this straight distance with an m4a1 (he has no helmet). Also, the shaking of his view doesn`t happen - the shot only registered as a hand-hit by the server - but the client thinks i also hit the head (there is
blood in his face!).

-Interpolate issue (moving players have a reaction advantage to sticked players):Read this

-Seeing shadows and guns through walls.

-Flashes :The only problem with flashes sometimes is when you throw it right next to someone, in front of them and they get no flash.

-Or another flash canceling the last one which unblind you while 1 second.

-Grenade throwing animation when a model is drawn, even when not throwing a grenade.

-The bomb is undefusable when a defusekit is placed ontop of the bomb.

-The pistol bug. When holding down +attack with any pistol, the crosshair acts as if it is a full auto weapon, and continually expands. Fix this bug by only expanding the crosshair on the first tick a +attack event is issued, then begin to collapse the crosshair.

If the server has pausable 1, if a player is planting/defusing a bomb and somone pauses the game, the action interrupts and the player must restart to plant/defuse.

-Model animation when canceling bomb plant half way.

-Model's Hitboxe are not correctly <drawn> while planting the bomb (you can't hit while a person is planting the bomb at a certain moment of the animation).

-You are running faster with the same gun at 100fps than 30 fps.

-Blocking doors: with kit/gun/grenade.

-Delay in crouching / standing-up animation

-Display name hack in some situations it can happen that you can see a Players name when the player isn't visible for you. See here an exemple.

-Defusing is canceled by a smoke/flash/nade if they are thrown on the head of the defuser.

-Defusing is randomly canceled when the bomb is planted in the fountain on inferno.

-Stuff missing : the player only drops 1 flash/nade/smoke when he dies even if he still had 2 flashes. Strategic issues !

-Slow opening doors on tickrate 100 and even slower on tick 125.

-Through the box : When you go on dust2 to bombspot B and you duck after the boxes on plateau, a terrorist can still kill you with a headshot kill.

-Crosshair shrink and grow according to FPS
Gives players with lower FPS a disadvantage when they wish to control their recoil.

-Defusing through solid objects.

-Changing the tick-rate of a server also affect the firing mechanisms of certain guns. This mainly happens with the AK47 and MP5 on low tick-rate servers (33).

-Problem of resizing when you alt tab and someone messages you the window gets at the top of the left and it gets very small, you need to resize and move it.

-When graphics mode 'Vsync' Is applied it makes your map disappear and you can't get it back unless you delete a few files.

-Flashes are not recorded on SourceTV and poeple are not blinded by flashes when viewing a SourceTV demo.

-The crosshair expands briefly after a -attack has been issued. This occurs quite commonly when firing 3 or 4 shot bursts with an automatic weapon. The crosshair will expand again, echoing the expansion that occured during the actual burst. To solve this, on the client, only expand the crosshair during a +attack event, and never expand after a -attack.


-Bomb points: CTs get defuse points after bomb blows
Happens when the CT has almost successfully defused.

-Friends lagging, when you click on a window it gets clicked after 1 or 2 seconds - delay.

-Pause Bug,See Here
-Telepathic knife, See Here

-cl_ejectbrass 0-1 has no effect you still see the bullets come out of the gun and on the ground.

-Flashes: when you're in spectator mode and you're watching someone get flashed, when you change to another person your own view is still flashed.

-Moving shadows of dead people when ragdolls are disabled.

-Magic Silencer :start putting a silencer on into usp/m4 and then throw the gun away and pick it up.Silencer magically on. Start taking it off, throw gun away and voila, silencer magically off.

-When turning the resolution very low (in the 600 and 700x's) the scrollbar that is in the chat window remains on screen when the chat window isn't open and doesn't go away unless the resolution is changed tosomething higher.

-Armor+Helmet rebuy: Only works if you buy your armor in some certain order, even if you have enough money.

-Reporting a bug does not work, See Here

-Steam Friends sometimes bug when poeple are trying to copy/paste from the friends windows : it has no effect.

-In speaker test level, error models appear.

-Reset: When changing your speaker amount, through console with the CVAR or through the options window, it will right away reset back to 2 speakers.

When in console you type sv_pure, it always says 0 even when it's not. The only way of knowing the correct value is when the server first loads it says sv_pure = [0/1/2] in console.

-Reset: Putting snd_digital_surround to 1 (by default is 0) will make it reset back to 0 right away.

-AK firing animation bug. Click once to fire a single bullet with the AK, watch the finger pull the trigger...

-Sometimes, when you join a server and the round began, you can see the standard ragdoll stance of fallen soldiers, then they immediately fall to the ground

II. EXPLOITS

-Shoot Flooding
Bind mwheelup to "+attack" ,buy Duelies then roll the mousewheel like a crazy person; this can (if done right) shoot off all 30 bullets within 0.6 seconds!! The same thing can be performed (on a lesser level) with all other pistols excluding the 228 & Deagle.

-Radar hack In spectator mode (after you are dead) if you change view person many times quickly, you can easily see that "footprint" lines are getting miked up of each other. See here.

-Exploit which that effects weapon switching. When you pull out a desert eagle there is a decent sized delay after the switching animation and it fools you into thinking your desert eagle is out and ready to fire when it really isnt. So you press fire 3 or 4 times before it actually fires. With the famas it is the opposite. You are able to fire the FAMAS before the switching animation is finished. All that it would take to fix this is probably an adjustment in timings.

-Money exploit: if you have less than 800$ money, you can get 800$ by switching spectators and back.


-Map exploit: There are a lot & a lot of map exploits in cs_assault and there are a few in de_port (aka places that you're not meant to be able to get into that you still can anyway).
