Also, there is no way to have an automated server side anti-cheat. The only way a server can protect itself against cheaters is Valves, automatic anti-cheat system, and an admin manually banning from a server. Valves anti-cheat system it does in fact work, perfectly. You obviously don't understand anything about the anti-cheat system. It's a delayed ban so the hacker doesn't know which cheat he got banned from using. It does work, it won't help you the very second your tears start running.

Zak, I've been playing CS since the beta eight years ago. I know the game and I can tell when someone is cheating. It doesn't take Einstein to see that someone who gets multiple simultaneous head shots consistently every round is cheating. "Blah blah blah, it's skill" - Bullcrap, I've entered actual CS and CS:S lan tournaments with hundreds of people and ranked in the top 30, and no one there got head shots with the consistency that cheaters do online.

Also, you can just watch their first person in death cam and see their crosshairs tracking heads.

yea zak got me addicted to cs... its an awesome game really. i thought it sucked but its really fun, and for the people that dont hack its fun to play against them, because the game is like a lot of skill. but i think it would be cool if u made an ork fort cs map ;p.

False, I hardly ever see cheaters. You don't know how to determine a cheater from a good player thats what makes you a noob.

The anti-cheat software works to some degree. But the best anti-cheat are the admins that oversee a server. It was the same in Day of Defeat. I was an admin on a pretty popular server, and the software only works so good. It was us admins constantly monitoring players that exhibited suspicious gameplay to determine if they cheated or not (the software didn't always pick it up).

Was funny ghosting someone, see them go into a building, wall hack and kill people through the walls, and deny that they did anything wrong.... sheesh.

Anyone that cheats is a newb in my book.

Zak is making an orc fort map for everybody to play on... and all you can say is FPS's are for loosers. You need to be more open minded sometimes rather then make stupid assumptions (i.e. cs is packed with hackers, FPS's suck). Seriously, if you dont have anything nice to say dont say >:
