When it's all said and done, tribes within bloodclan are for mostly rp purposes. They all have their own group functions like raids/events/bootcamps/ceremonies/etc. But when it comes down to a clan wide raid or defense, everyone follows the higher ranks lead, regardless of tribe. So yes, if that's the way this "merge" is to work out, you'd basically just be joining bloodclan.

Is that the way it's going to happen? IDK, you need to clarify details with the war council, they are the only ones that can make decisions like that.

I can tell you from listening to the gossip, if you do automatically get your own tribe and grunt status, you are going to have to work extra hard to earn any respect in the clan.

And just from observation, the guild doesn't historically ally with just any old group. Only with those that have established a good relationship with us, through rp/pvp/general conduct.

Go to UOGamers: Divinity - (Ultima Online Freeshard) for the downloads.

Download Ventrilo and install. Do a search on this forum for "communication" and find the thread that tells you the vent info so you can immediately talk to us.

Before you close the "communication" thread, go here and download Pidgin. This includes IRC chat which most orcs use, but it also includes a lot of other mainstream instant messengers like AIM, yahoo, gmail chat, MSN, etc. Pidgin is totally free and takes up a tiny amount of memory, so it is the best. If you need help with Pidgin (doubtful... it's pretty easy) then send me a PM (Personal Message) and I'll help you.

Now go back to the divinity website and download Net 1.1 Framework if you don't have it yet.

Then download razor and install it.

Then download Ultima Online: ML (Mondain's Legacy) and install it. Then you'll have to patch it by running the program. Patching usually takes about 45 minutes on a good network connection. The tricky part that will help you save time and stress is that you have to stop the patcher on a certain update. I'm not an expert on which update is the very best. If Zak or someone else has a good idea, please reply. I think stopping at 5.0.8 is good though. You can always patch further, but if you go too far, then you'd have to completely reinstall UO to get the right one. Choose the 2D client, not the 3D client, by the way. This might seem a bit intimidating, but it's really not that bad.

Now that you're patched, you can run Razor and choose the divinity server. If this part is confusing at all (it shouldn't be) then go here for info.

That is a huge issue not being able to DL files. You should get on IRC and have someone DCC you firefox or uninstall your OS and reinstall.
