i pwned mountain blade,
and i can tell you.simply.
unmounted archers 1st to weaken
unmounted grunts charge in when the enemy is halfway.
and cavalry flank soon after they clash
and its a good clean wipe.

but since there's going to be lots of HP involved.
it might be a different story
more of a zerglike thing. =/

bows and magic would be pretty a bad idea mounted because there would be
way too much scattering of the troops.

No mounts have been a tradition of orc for a very long time, mainly i think because when orcs were first created by shadwclan they wanted to create an enemy for players more intellegent then AI orcs and they noticed Orc Shardees don't ride around on mounts so that's where i believe the No mount rule comes from. now If DF has Orc Shardees riding around on mounts and we run around on our feet it would just look silly we can rp mounts or no mounts either way.

I come and go so much I rarely play with my main name anymore, I've had a handful of pugs and gruntees over the past year or two that die out after a few weeks. Hopefully I'll find more time on a consistant basis for Darkfall. Which is why I thought to chip in about Bloodclan's presence there :P.

Good point with the mounted shardees, I hadn't thought of that concept, too used to UO I geuss. Still worries me about what the gruntees will perceive when all the grunts are mounted up and running down oomies. Bah, face that bridge when we come to it.
