Gruntee and Pug status

After a very brief discussion between the war council we all agree that there should be an official rule to help define the relationship between pugs and gruntees.

the short version.
Gruntee is a rank that you have to work for and acquire from pughood. getting to gruntee is a promotion. Gruntees are higher ranked than pugs. Gruntees CAN boss pugs around the same as any other higher rank can boss the lower ranks around.

While gruntees are not grunts they are expected to help grow and teach other gruntees and our pugs. The pug rank initially was just a quick stop over from being unguilded to gruntee. a weeks time kind of rank. It has evolved since then into a real rank and people are proud when they get gruntee.

There are restrictions involved. Gruntees are not grunts and there are a few of them who might tend to abuse what little power they have. Unfortunatly that means we must tie the hands of all gruntees to some extent to help curb this tendancy in some. With that being said gruntees cannot hand out punishments. If there is a pug orc who is not listening take a ss or rvp and give to grunt or ask a grunt ingame if they are available and we can fix this problem orc. Gruntees can call bootcamps, help train and teach new orcs, and even lead small raids to partol our lands which include the lich spawn, orc cave, shame and brigand camp.

In order to be considered for grunt the gruntees must show that they can be effective leaders and trusted with the responsability of training and teaching all orcs not just their friends. This clarification should help those frustrated few who have tried to do the right thing and have been smacked down because we have an unwritten rule. Now its written.

Great clarification.. Pugs always got angry at Pru'Zig when she didn't allow them into the gruntee huts to get things, and would make them ask her for items from the hut :D

We really did need a good strong middle rank in the clan, Gruntee.

Isn't that the way it was before? Gruntees can teach but not punish which works fine most of the time, but what about those times when there's dumskah pugs and nobody above gruntee to put them in line? We had this situation a couple nights ago, and they couldn't even run a bootcamp or make pugs run laps when pugs were klomping gruntees.
