This whole thread made me love pure dexers even more.

TRAP BOX
Good for solo orcs, or against constant hit n run umies.
You need a tinker trapped box, preferably explode. Place it on the ground in front of you or on a corpse with some loot. Hide and wait for them to open, or pick it up and likely have razor blow it up on them. Swing away as they might have a few hps left.

Crate O' Crates.
Place 5 crates in a crate.
Equip axe.
Hide near a choke point, axe the crate to block a tile for however long it takes them to see and grab five items. Not recommended in large battles as you can block orcs trying to get in/out.
If you're fast against a semi-krimped/paraed umie you can axe two/three tiles and possibly surround them yourself or at least delay them. The great part is you can pick up the crates and repeat.

Ty to bank thieves for this knowledge.

the tinker trap boxes have to be axed I believe in order to set off the traps. just opening them doesnt set it off.

Yes, the trapped boxes have to be locked for the trap to trigger. Once locked you either have to break it with an axe or use a lockpick to open it for the trap to cause damage.

So, the best choice would be to fill the box with some ore, trap it, lock it, and place in designated spot. The box will still be able to move, but with enough pounds of resources it wont go in their pack.

Boxes are an orcs best friend. Those fancy mounts don't do 'em any good if they are trapped!

I recommend adding a 'drop box here' macro in razor. This lets you drop a lot of boxes or footstools in a short amount of time. Footstools are good because they can confuse the opponent(They don't just block movement, they rubberband you when you try to move into a foostool), while boxes can be loaded down so the opponent will become 'overweight' when they try to pick them up.

Procedure for drop-box macro;
1) Go to Macros tab
2) Hit 'New'
3) Enter a name
4) Select the macro and hit 'Record'
5) Pick up a small crate
6) Drop the crate on the tile where you stand
7) Hit 'Stop Recording'
8) Right click on 'Drop to Location' and select 'Change to Relative Location'
9) Right click on the item ID and select 'Change to Type'
10) Bind the new macro to a hotkey via the 'Hotkey' tab

All set! Keep in mind there are TWO different orientations for crates -- one facing north/south, and one facing west/east. These are different item types!

I don't see why they'd do something like that. It's a great escape technique by the way. I'm not sure about Hybrid, but on Divinity the only limitation is you can't trap ghosts.
