I would love to have UOAM set up again.... however, do we have a dedicated server to host it?

Well... Do we need much bandwidth for that? I have a few contacts... I think I can set up a dedicated UOAM server. ":)

Anyone have infomation for Xug? This is a powerful resource for orcs, especially on raids.

IRC is the best place to get a hold of anyone online, as there are always people on and if you really need to get a hold of omsone just leave them a pm over irc, most people just leave it on all day.
but Mirc and Vent are the only ones are we useing right now that i know of, would be nice to have a UOAM server

For mIRC I recommend everybody read this . It'll help you with setting it up if you've never used it before. Just click "Add" at the servers list and add in irc.runuo.com in the box next to IRC Server. Once you're connected type /join #orc
Looks like the server crashed or something recently, both the #orc channel and #uogamers channel are deserted compared to before. Get in there!

when trying to connect to the irc.runuo.com server
for some reason im getting the "unable to connect to the server (Software caused connection abort)
any ideas on what this could be? my windows is up to date, plus i just did a check on my winsock, and its good. those were the only possible problems that i could find on the web. i'd really like to get in on this channel while im at work, hehe.
also i tried connecting through the java applet on searchirc website that connects directly to the irc.runuo.com #orc channel, and it saying unable to connect as well. is the channel up or down?
